Rosary on the coast

This initiative follows on from similar well-publicized and highly successful national events in Poland and Ireland.  Sunday, 29th April at 3pm has been chosen as launch date for Rosary on the Coast in the British Isles.  This is a day of Pilgrimage and Prayer for the re-flourishing of our Faith, for the grace to build a culture of Life and for true Peace to reign in the hearts of all peoples and nations.   You can find out more details on  https://www.rosaryonthecoast.co.uk/

With Plymouth Diocese being almost surrounded by sea and having such a beautiful coast and coastal path, this is surely something that we can respond to?  We are hoping that all parishes on or near the coastal path could that afternoon recite the rosary together on some of the path with these intentions.  Look out for further details in your area.

“With the Diocese of Plymouth almost being entirely surrounded by the sea, I am delighted to see that there is already such a generous take-up by parishes, groups and individuals to pray the Rosary on the Coast on 29th April.  I look forward to joining the group gathering on The Hoe in Plymouth that afternoon.  I am sure it will be a moment of great blessing for us to link up with circles of prayer across the country and to pray to Mary our Mother, seeking always her guidance, protection, and intercession, most especially for the unborn and those who are weakest and most vulnerable in our society.” - Bishop Mark O'Toole
